Abbott & Costello Who's on First
This is by far my favorite joke! It is classic, simple, and straight forward. It never fails to put a smile on my face.
I'm a Taurus
I love my zodiac sign and feel that I am exactly all the descriptions of a taurus.
Random clip I found on Pinterest, I love researching my zodiac sign.
Pictures of my first bull fight
Being a fan of Hemingway, history, and all things bulls, left me with a strong urge to see a bull fight. I know many people are extremely against this and I understand why they are. But I am sorry to say that I am a fan of bullfighting. There is an intense feeling while watching a bullfight which is also kind of exciting because you feel really alive. I would love to travel to Spain to see bull fights there one day.

One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies: Midnight in Paris
I love the way that "young Ernest Hemingway" talks about life and death and how intense he is. He also makes a reference to Belmonte, a great and brave bullfighter. I like Hemingway so much because of how blunt and passionate he is. I still need to practice on my writing skills, but Hemingway's style is my goal!
"Hemingway's" advice to writers in another scene from Midnight in Paris
"Declare yourself the best writer."
Jackie Kennedy
A bit blurry, but here she wears the famous Lilly Pulitzer dress from Time magazine that helped get Pulitzer's company running.
I've always sort of looked up to Jackie Kennedy for the obvious reasons that I think most American women look up to her (to name a few: style, grace, class).
But what I always forget is that she was also human. I tend to hold her to these higher standards that I can't achieve; but really, she also had flaws and feelings. She not only remained strong during the tragedies in her life. But what has stood out to me lately is the love that she had for Jack. It's no secret that Jack had affairs, and this is something that I have never understood about women who stay in relationships after knowing they were cheated on. Hilary Clinton for example, I have always sort of disliked her for staying with Bill after his infidelity. I JUST DON'T GET IT! She wants to empower women and her example is to stay with a man that doesn't value her?
I am a huge fan of Ernest Hemingway, Frank Sinatra, John F. Kennedy, Don Draper (not a real person I know), even Bill Clinton. But they all have the same flaw of cheating on their wives, and yet I'm still a fan. So I can't imagine how the women who were in actual relationships with them felt. The sad thing about affairs is that they don't erase the memories and feelings of love. Love is complicated and I don't think I will ever fully wrap my head around my feelings towards infidelity. But what I can say now after giving it much thought is that even if I don't get why women stay, I do understand how complicated love is. And I guess I have to accept that there will never be clear rules about love, Jackie and Hillary weren't wrong to stay.
This is a beautiful letter written by Jackie Kennedy that reminded me not to judge or have opinions on relationships that I know nothing about. Her love for Jack is truly inspiring.
Best quote about love (in my opinion)
Don Draper at it again! I have no idea what I want to do with my marketing degree when I graduate college. But Don Draper proves how much impact marketing has on the world around us, it even impacts how we view the concept of love.
I have fallen for media's definition of love, the lighting bolt type of love. Growing up as a young girl I was exposed to Disney princesses, cheesy young adult romance novels (thanks a lot Twilight), and they scarred me. I would sit around watching Say Yes to the Dress every Friday night in middle school with my best friends. I talked on and on about my future wedding. This is what people like Don Draper want us to do. Because after all their job is to sell us things and they know just how to do it, by messing with out hearts.
I grew up and thankfully stopped believing in a "manufactured love."
*Sorry for the randomness of this article, but sometimes I'm a random person, and my thoughts don't always connect. I also have a lot going on in my mind these days.
